At Home service
If your vehicle breaks down at home, we will bring our roadside assistance service to your doorstep. If your vehicle can’t be repaired, the RAC will transport your vehicle to the nearest Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
If your vehicle breaks down at the roadside and is immobilised, we’ll send out an RAC patrol or appointed agent to get you back on the road. If we are unable to repair your vehicle at the roadside, you can call on the Recovery service described below. While Vauxhall Assistance aims to bring you peace-of-mind motoring, it only covers manufacturer-based or mechanical faults on your vehicle.
Vauxhall Assistance is vehicle-based, so it covers anyone driving your Vauxhall with your permission.
Petrol, Diesel & Hybrid vehicles: New Vauxhalls are covered free of charge for 12 months starting from the date of registration.
Electric Vehicles: Are covered, free-of-charge, for 3 years or 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first), starting from the date of registration.
If you sell your vehicle within the period of cover, the new owner can take advantage of any unexpired free Vauxhall Assistance cover, which will apply until the vehicle's first-year warranty expires.

When you book your vehicle in for a service with us, we’ll give you 12 months FREE Roadside Assistance* from our partners at the RAC.
If something should happen to your Vauxhall, we’ll be there with just one call. And if the RAC can’t fix your vehicle at the roadside, they’ll take you to your nearest Vauxhall Retailer where our Experts are on hand to get you back on the road.
